Chains clear all data in a table
Con rispostaHi
I've managed to use chains to delete the latest data set in a table however If i wanted to clear the whole table how would i do that?
As a bit of background manually we would upload 4 different data sets into one table at month end we would replace these 4 datasets. I can only see that you can delete the data to be able to 'replace' which is fine but I need to delete all 4 data sets in the table. How would I do this?
thanks

Hi Chelsea!
Sorry for my delay here. Happy to help as best I can.
At a high level, you would get the list of datasets in the table and use a command group to iterate over this list to delete. If you'd like a more detailed conversation I can get you connected with our Product Success team or if you'd prefer you can simply email us at connected@workiva.com.
Let me know if you have any follow-ups or need anything else. Cheers!
0Hey Chelsea,
We have successfully accomplished this in a pretty seamless way, as we have a pretty mature data analytics build out. We have a sheet that controls unimporting and deleting files. If you're interested, I'd be happy to show you!
Just send me an email (miller.stephens@stonex.com) and we can set something up!0Accedi per aggiungere un commento.
