Is there a way to add data labels as percentages on the outside end with the chart still showing dollar amounts in bars?

Hello and welcome to the Community, Jessica!

Great question. I was doing some tinkering with this today to see how best to achieve it. The short answer is yes and no. Currently you cannot show the value in a column as a percent versus the whole value, but you could link the values into your data source and run the calculation there that computes them into the percent and then display that value and hide the others. Here's a quick example based on your data:

From the Workiva chart data, I had rows for each value I needed calculate and columns for reach series. I ran a simple change formula agains them, for example for B2 the calc is =(Previous Value A - Previous Value B) / Previous Value B, or =(B4-B5)/B5. In this example my values are not linked from source, but you certainly could link them. Once all that is done, I then hid rows 4 through 7 so I was left with this:

Once that is done, you'll need to manipulate the series of Reporting Calendar Year in the Chart properties so that those values are on a separate axis than Previous Calendar Year. This will they will have columns next to each other in the chart.

Finally, I toggled the legend off and started to tweak colors and what not. Also note that in my above image I didn't have any values in row 1 fo the data. This is because in Workiva, only the top row of the data will display for the axis, not several rows, so based on what I see from your shared example, you might need to create a table below your chart to get it to look like the shared image. Here's what I started to get:

It's a work in progress, but it might be the start of what you want. You can choose to tweak it further in Workiva too if you want a newer look or change your chart a bit, etc. Hopefully this helps some. Let me know what questions you have on any of the above, or if you need anything else. Thanks for your contributions and happy Monday!
