Importing a chart from Excel
Con rispostaIs there any way to import a chart made in Excel into a wdesk document? Or does it need to be created within wdesk?
Thanks,

You can bring it in as an image.
0I will not have an image at the moment, the project that I tried to perform such a procedure is closed. However, I will describe my attempt and try to be clear in the information to get your help. I had an excel spreadsheet that would become a graph. Therefore, when I work only in Excel, I select the data and insert a chart. The program requires a graph applicable to the selected data and I create the graph based on this suggestion, when importing into WDesk it understands this same graph as an image and does not contain data information. Is there any way to make WDesk understand the import of this graph as a graph?
I’m very grateful to you for helping me.0Hi Tatiana!
Thanks for the question. Perhaps I can be of some assistance here.
To make sure I follow, are you trying to import a DOCX file, or PPTX file that has this graph (chart)? Or is this graph (chart) in the Excel? In either scenario, Wdesk will not be able to import the data as a Wdesk chart. The caveat here is you CAN recreate the chart in Wdesk for a Document or Presentation but not in a Spreadsheet as Charts inside Spreadsheets is not yet supported. I'll also add that our Product Team is looking into importing MS Office charts as Wdesk Charts, and you are not alone in this request if so.
One option is that when you recreate the same Charts in Wdesk, you can also import your Excel into a Spreadsheet and that same Spreadsheet can be used to drive the Chart data.
Hopefully this helps some. Let me know if you have questions or I've completely missed the mark, and I'll be happy to help however I can. Thanks again and chat soon!
