Calendar/Date Selector as Data Validation option

Is there a way to either use Data Validation or Conditional Formatting in a spreadsheet to have the end user select a date (like from a calendar)?

    Hi Scott!

    Thanks for the question, and sorry for the delay in getting to this. There is currently not a calendar/date selector as a Data Validations option. As a workaround, you could build a repository of the dates available and have that be your reference for the your Data Validation. Something like this:

    Thank you for the referral Mike. While this is a workaround, the previous classic version is obviously a lot more practical and involves less much less scrolling. Let's hope the previous data validation methods make their way into next-gen spreadsheets.
