Download test forms in bulk or export via API and download all attachments
Is it possible to download test forms in bulk, or export a csv of multiple test forms via API, as well as download all attachments for multiple tests?

Great question. I did a little digging amonst our SOX experts and found out that you can download up to 5 test forms at once, which may not be as bulky as you need but its something. I can also say that we currently don't have any API connectors to export test forms but I'm happy to pass along this request to our Product Team for further consideration (as well as the bulk download of test forms).

Got some additional info for ya. Though you can’t actually download Test Forms via the API, if you are just needing the aggregated results of testing in a csv format (like a report), you CAN use APIs to download csv files of any reports in your account.Hopefully that helps. To answer your follow-up, there is no report that has all the information of the standard test form. You'd likely want to decide what information is needed and if it's not already covered in a Test Matrix or Testing Summary report, you can request it. Does Workiva plan on increasing the minimum test form download from 5 to a higher number? Our external auditors mentioned this process was pretty tedious on their end.

Hi Jill!
Sadly, after chatting with our engineers on this one, it is unlikely Workiva will increase that number beyond 5 items for the time being. This is due in part because going beyond 5 forms for download has greater propensity for overburdening the system. That's not to say we'd never do that, but right now its not planned.

Hi Mike - We created our test forms and exported them out of Workiva. We updated them with our testing and are looking to import them back in so that we have updated test forms in Workiva. How do we go about importing the test forms we exported, so that all of the data from the forms make it into the appropriate fields?

I checked with the experts on this, and they mentioned that right now there is not a direct import of a test form back into Workiva. If you wish to get these test forms into the platform, you will need to work with your CSM to get this accomplished.
