  Hi Connor!

  For certain, yes, you'd be able direct a user via email to a next gen Document. There's a couple ways that come to mind currently.

  Send a Document Task
  From the Task panel in a next gen Doc, click 'Create Task'. From the pop-up window, enter the info for your task, assign the task, and then choose the document itself instead a section from the Location, like so:
  
  

  This task will then send the user an email, with a link to that document.

  Send a Directed Comment
  From any section of the next gen Document, you can create a comment and then @mention the user. Sometimes it makes sense to do this from the Cover section, i.e. the top section. This will similarly send an email with a direct link to the file.
  
  

  Send a Link
  You can also provide the URL to a doc in an email and that link will take them directly to the document. Simply copy the URL from your browser and paste it in the email. You may want to shorten the email, which is allowed. Furthermore, it will also send them to the specific section you are in at the time.
