Zero label only on Waterfall Chart
Con rispostaWe have a waterfall chart that we just want to add a label at zero on the Y Axis (i.e. we don't want any other labels on the Y axis - just $0). I am able to do this no problem when we have an overall increase (Set chart range to $0 to $X, show labels, and have step size be $X+1), but when the amounts go negative, this approach doesn't work anymore since it will always show the label of where the chart begins. Is there a workaround, or any plans to add an option to show the $0 label along with the $0 line? See below for the current chart that we have - we just want to have a $0 or $- one the left side of the line.

Hello again, Andrew!
Thanks for the question. I wanted to say first that your above workaround was very clever indeed. I chatted with a few of our chart experts and they were similarly impressed. The good news too is they added to your workaround concept in and got the chart to work like you were describing--with the $0 showing on the line. Here's what they came up with:In this example, the min value was -$X and the max was $X, with the step being $X+1. The result allowed the zero to show but the other data to remain unchanged. Is this what you are looking to do? Let me know if I've missed the mark, or you have any questions. I've also passed along your request for this feature, sans workaround, to our Product Team and will keep you updated here.
Thanks again and happy Thursday!0This is exactly what we were looking to do! I must have only tried the workaround in classic charts and not next gen. Thank you for your help!
0That's good to hear Andrew Korte. Indeed, I tested on next gen. Force of habit there ;) Either way, you're quite welcome. Thanks again!
