    Hi Kelly

I did some checking with our Spreadsheets folks on this and currently there isn't a direct way to keep sheets connected, since roll forward creates a copy of the Spreadsheet in question. The best way would be to reconnect the sheets. If you have a large number of connections, you could use your new copy as an archive of sorts, and continue using the original Spreadsheet for the new period.

Regarding your second question, when sheets are connected, they become automatically locked down to edits. If you wanted to delete out content, you'd need to unlock the cells, i.e. disconnect the sheet. However, when you reconnect the sheet, this new connection will override the content, i.e, update it.

Does that make sense? Let me know what questions you have for me, or if you need anything else. Thanks for the questions and have an awesome day!

Thanks Mike! Quick question on deleting sheets. When I click on Connect --> Sheet Data it gives me the below list. Is there a way to delete the sheets from prior periods? For example I won't need sheet "1909 3015" again because it's from Q3 2019. If the sheets were  listed in order this wouldn't be as big of an issue but they aren't so I have to search every month when I need to reconnect sheets and the list I have to wade through is getting bigger each time. Is there a better way to do this? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for reaching out. Just based on what you describe, and the image provided, it sounds initially like new queries are being generated in Wdata itself, which is what you are seeing. There are ways to do that in Wdata without it creating those additional queries each time. If I've missed the mark there and it is another issue, let me know. Furthermore, I might suggest to also have your CSM take a gander at it too, especially so if it is a query issue in Wdata.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above or need anything else. Thanks for question and have a great day!
