iXBRL Documents incorporated by reference text block 10-K filing
Con rispostaTrying to add "Documents incorporated by reference text block" in the 2018 DEI Updated taxonomy. Every time I try to add in the outline, it asks whether this is a level 1, 2 or 3. Whichever level I choose, it doesn't recognize the DEI in my outline and always asks me to create a new DEI outline. So I create a new one and everytime, it tells me "Error, the target outline section could not be identified". I've tried validating the project and document, sometimes, it resolves on its own.
Any idea how to add this tag? It seems to be required if we have this section in the 10-K.
Thanks!

Hi Dalisay Pingul!
I asked some of the crew here and they recommended going into the outline, right-clicking on another tag and choosing"Add Before" or "Add After" to get this tag in there. Let me know if this works, or if you have any questions for me.
Thanks, and have a great day!
0It works! Had to do some tweaking, but it works (yay!!!) Thank you so much for responding!
0Awesome to hear. And no problem, happy to help!
0Hi Mike,
Thank you for this tip! I added it to my outline but am not sure how to get rid of the yellow warning on the text block tag of 'this fact usage is not associated with an outline template.' I'm running into the same problem as Dalisay in that it wants me to select a level but the DEI section isn't an option. Any further thoughts would be much appreciated!
0Hi Linda!
No problem! I had a quick follow-up with our Professional Services team regarding your question, and here's their suggestions.
You should be able to manually add it to the XBRL outline in the DEI. You can either turn off auto-add and use the drop-down next to the concept to Add to Outline and it will add after the location where your cursor is in the XBRL outline. Or you can do an Add After in the XBRL outline and then search for that concept name.
Does that help at all? Let me know if we've missed the mark there, or you have any additional questions for me. Thanks again and chat soon. Happy Friday!0Accedi per aggiungere un commento.
