Download "transitional tags" and/or Concepts with "Implementation Notes"? (idea lab suggestion)
Con rispostaHi everyone - I'm looking to see if there's an easy way to identify and download a list of "transitional tags" and/or concepts that contain "implementation notes" used within a SEC filing. Our team recently learned that we used a tag in a filing that was deemed transitional and should not have been used if a certain ASU was adopted (we did adopt this ASU earlier this year). We did not receive an error in the iXBRL or filing process.
I tried reviewing our "All Facts Report" and "Taxonomy Report" with no luck. Does anyone know if there's an easy way to identify these types of tags so we can review if using them is still appropriate. If no, could this be added to the R&D team or idea lab to be implemented into either the "Locate Concepts" function or the reports I previously mentioned?
See picture below for example - thanks!

Hi Jonathan,
When you have XBRL on, you can go under Locate > Concepts > With Implementation Notes. You can download an excel from there.
Hope that helps!

1Thanks very much Catherine; very helpful! I did see this option but the downloaded report provided the basic concept type, name, standard label, etc. as well as location within the document. Slightly difficult to review as you'd need to go into each tag and actually see what the Implementation Note said. I wasn't sure if there was a similar report that included the actual Implementation Note with everything else that's in the basic report.
Thank you again!
Jonathan
