Hi, Isabella! My name is Mallory Earll and I'm the product manager for Spreadsheets.

If you're wanting to be able to see which source links were changed, the outline in the spreadsheet will have a gray triangle next the the section to indicate there are link changes in that given section. Hopefully that will help you narrow down what changes are present. We'll also be building track changes functionality soon which will let you know what cells have changed and give you the ability to accept or discard them in a panel easily before you're ready to publish your changes. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Mallory has there been any update on this? We've had some situations where someone goes into a next gen spreadsheet or presentation and a new version appears even though they didn't mean to change anything. We'd like to be able to see what actually changed since nothing should have changed. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Valerie! We're actually hoping to release this functionality in the next few weeks into Spreadsheets. Tell your CSM you're looking out for it and they can let you know the day it hits your account.
