    I have great news! The ability to zoom in Spreadsheets was recently released to Wdesk. You may now zoom to your heart's content. :)

    Hi Dan!

    There isn't a specific zoom toggle within a Spreadsheet itself, but if you adjust your browser zoom, it will zoom into your Spreadsheet. In Google Chrome, the keyboard shortcut to increase or decrease your zoom is CTRL + or CTRL -.

    Yes, this would be very helpful to have as a functionality. Having to constantly zoom out when I work in the Spreadsheets file and then zoom back in when I'm working in the workbook file can be time-consuming.

    While there has been progress made internally toward adding a zoom to next generation document types, including Spreadsheets and Documents, as of yet it is still not available. I've shared your desire for this feature with our Product Team and will keep this post updated for sure with any new developments.

    Thanks for the follow-up. At this time, a zoom toggle is still not available for Spreadsheets, but it does remain on the Product Team's radar. I will say that a zoom toggle will be coming soon to next generation Documents, so keep your eyes peeled on our Release Notes.

    Is the zoom feature only available for documents? I don't see this in my spreadsheet.

    Correct, this is only for Documents. I wanted to let the folks on this chain know as they had requested it here but might not have been following the other post. Rest assured, however, that zoom is coming for Spreadsheets and I'll keep you apprised here for sure when it also becomes available.

    Please get this function available! Having to adjust the browser is not ideal. It seems we keep finding functions that were available on workbooks that don't work on spreadsheets. It feels we have taken a step back with this transition.

    Sorry to hear you are having a less than stellar experience with the zoom function and Spreadsheets, or lack thereof. I've passed along your desire for this feature with our Product Team and will certainly keep you apprised of the any new developments.

    Regarding this feature and the others that are not yet available in Spreadsheets, it is definitely our goal to have as much parity as possible between what you are familiar with in classic Workbooks and what you can find in next generation Spreadsheets. From that, our Product Team has prioritized features based on many criteria, which is why some features are not yet there and others are, That being said, we definitely do appreciate your feedback and will strive to get this feature released in near term.

    Hi - on a spreadsheet, I can zoom in and out, however there doesnt appear to be a way of saving zoom settings (i.e. it defaults to 100% each time you open the spreadsheet)?

    Today the system will not recall your zoom settings, whether for Documents, Spreadsheets, or Presentations. This has been requested before (see here), so you're definitely not alone. I'm happy to add you to the list and will keep you apprised of any updates there.
