Actual workspace roles differ from the Help topic?
Con rispostaIt appears that the actual workspace roles differ from the ones in the help topic?
Per the help topic (https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036002431) they are:
- Workspace admins
- Workspace members
- Limited Starters
- Standards
- Professionals
- Certifier Admin
- Certifier Creator
Yet per the actual roles we can create they are:
- Workspace Admin
- Worksapce Support User
- Editor
- Viewer
- Limited Starter
- Filing
- XBRL
- Certifier Admin
- Certifier Creator
Therefore not sure what each role can do?

Great convo, John!
There have been some changes to Workiva’s license structure, as well as our Internal Audit, SOX and Workspaces products. All of these have entailed new/additional roles, which is why you see a discrepancy between your own account and what’s listed on our Help site. I’ve forwarded your feedback onto the team for consideration into broadening that article to be more inclusive to what you are seeing. In the meantime, I can help elaborate a bit on what the roles you have can see/do. Keep in mind you may not see all of these options, and some are not available to be added depending on what your license is in your Wdesk Org.Global Roles
Workspace Admin - can update workspace settings, manage workspace members and groups, manage workspace content, view activities log for the workspace, and move files between workspaces.

0Hi John,
Wanted to let you know what our Help team has updated the above mentioned page to include a more comprehensive listing of the available roles in Wdesk, similar to what you see above.
We appreciate your feedback and hope this new version helps better explain what you see. Give us a holler if you need anything else. Cheers!0Hello Mike,
Can editors complete the same tasks that certifier creators do?
Thanks,
Mikayla
0Hi Mikayla!
Thanks for the question. Happy to answer it for ya.
An Editor role can perform the same tasks in Certifications as the Cert Creator role. In addition, within the platform, they able to create and edit documents, and create links, whereas a Cert Creator could only view files with permission and comment. Does that make sense? Let me know if I've missed the mark there or you have any follow-ups for me.
