Hi there!
Its been awhile and maybe you have already solved, but wanted to share these tid-bits for you and passers-by. Hold on tight!
To address issues with users in the SSO bypass group still being prompted to login via SSO, you can consider the following:
1. Verify User Mapping: Ensure that the
Workiva
username is correctly mapped to theirSAML ID
2. Check if the SSO Bypass is Correctly Configured: Ensure users are correctly added to the
SSO Bypass List
. They should be able to log in with their username and password without being prompted for SSO.3. Review Certificate Mapping: Confirm that the X.509 certificate configured in
Workiva
matches the customer's identity provider certificate. If it doesn't match, users can face login issues.4. Org Security Admin Role: If there are issues with mapping or restrictions, you might need the Organization Security Admin to review and potentially adjust the SAML user mappings or certificate settings.
5. VPN Considerations: In some cases, turning on their VPN might resolve location-based access issues if their organization has specific location restrictions. You may want to engage with your organization's Security Admin or support channels if the issue persists, ensuring all settings align properly with your organization's security protocols.
