Secondary Axis Options?
In Excel, it's possible to plot a part of a stacked bar on a secondary axis so you can essentially do a bar within a bar. Is that something that you are able to do in Workiva?

Hi Pierce Jackson! Thank you for the question! Taking part of a stacked column that is pulling from the left axis and having it pull from the right axis will take that part of the stacked column and split it out into it's own column and sit next to the original stacked column. So it is not possible to do what you're asking. To differentiate that part of the stacked chart I think your best option would just be a different color and/or a border around it, then depending which product the chart is in (document or presentation) you might be able to get an arrow and a call out box!
0I was trying to use this to show actuals vs budget YTD. So I was hoping to be able to see actuals as a percentage of budget in same bar. But I may have to consider just doing two bars.
0Pierce Jackson Could you attach a screenshot of what you want the chart to look like? Then I can give a better answer of what's possible in our charts!
0Sure thing!
I found this that someone made online and was trying to recreate something similar for forecasting actuals.
0Ahhh I see Pierce Jackson! That is a tough one with our system limitations. We wouldn't be able to do that. If you're trying to make this in a presentation the closest you could get is to make two separate charts and overlay them. It would certainly not be ideal though!
