My team is working on tagging the new footnote requirement for supply chain financing arrangements and was wondering if anyone has found a tag to use within the 2022 GAAP taxonomy or if a custom tag is needed for the time being. If custom how do you add a custom footnote to the xbrl outline?

    Welcome to the community. 👋

    I'm waiting to hear on info regarding a specific tag but in chatting with some of our XBRL gurus, if you are not able to find the right tag to use you can definitely extend. Furthermore, the process for building an XBRL outline for this is the same for standard concepts. If it ends up all being extension based you may need to create extension abstracts, lines items, axis, etc. and structure the outline the same as if it were all standard concepts. Does that make sense?
