Earn these coveted community-only badges
Hi all!
Many of you likely received an automated “You have been awarded a badge!” email about your receipt of a new badge. First, kudos to you! And secondly, this is legit, and expected. But wait, there’s more!
I’m excited to announce that we have now rolled out some new community-only badges which are awarded to members based on their activities here in the Workiva Community. To start, we have awarded badges based on your all-time participation, which is why you were awarded badges today. Going forward, your activities here in the community will earn you points toward earning the next level badge, which will be automatically awarded weekly. To see if you have any earned badges, go to My Profile under your name.
Here’s some more specifics on the badges available and how to earn them.
Point system
Members are awarded points for specific engagements within the Workiva Community. Here’s the point breakdown.
- Create a post: 5 pts
- Add a comment: 2 pts
- Votes received: 1 ea
- Follows: 1 ea
- Share feedback: 10 pts
- Participate in a beta program: 10 pts
- Badges earned: 1 ea.
Below are how badges are awarded based on your activity and/or accumulated points.
Idea Generator

Beta Buddy
Awarded to members who have participated in a Beta program.
Rising Star

We’re very excited about this first pass at community badges. We plan to continually iterate and add new badges, and in the future we plan to provide a leaderboard where you can see how you stack up against others. In the meantime, let us know too if you have any questions or feedback. Thanks again for being members, and for making the Workiva Community an awesome place to hang out.
Cheers! 🥂

Is there any ability to see how many activity points you have?
0Hi Robert!
That is in the pipeline to add, both in terms of how many points you have in your profile view, but also a leaderboard to see how you are stacking. That said, on the backend I see you have 134 points, so you're well on your way to the Community Champion badge.
