Page number outside margins in footer

HI all,

Wishing to add page numbers in the mirrored footers outside the page margin on the right and left pages. We have managed to manipulate the page number to sit outside the margin on the left page. However I am unable to achieve the same positioning on the right page.

Any tips on how to do this.

    To position page numbers in mirrored footers outside the page margins for both left and right pages, follow these steps:
     
    1. Enable Mirrored Margins: Ensure that mirrored margins are enabled in your document. This can be done under Document Properties > Page Formats > Page Margins by selecting the "Mirrored" margin style.
    2. Adjust Footer Properties:
      - Open the footer region and access the Properties panel.
      - In the Position section, adjust the From Bottom value to move the footer closer to or further from the page edge  .
    3. Set Alternating Footers:
      - Use the "Alternating Pages" option in the footer properties to differentiate between odd and even pages. This ensures that the left and right pages have distinct footer settings  .
    4. Manual Adjustment for Right Page:
      - If the right page footer does not align as desired, ensure that the "Same as previous section" option is unchecked for the footer properties of the right page. This allows independent adjustment .
    5. Use Tables for Precise Alignment:
      - Insert a single-row table in the footer and adjust its alignment to position the page number precisely. This method provides better control over placement .
    6. Check Section Consistency:
      - Verify that all sections are consistent in their properties, especially for non-printing sections. Inconsistent settings can disrupt the alignment .
