Process Document Upload
RespondidaI have a document in my files that I would like to upload to a certification but it does not allow for me to attach it. I have tried to replicate the document as a new letter but it does not have the same headers and footers.
Can you please assist.

Hi Daniel!
Thanks for the question. Happy to help.
If I follow correctly, I have some info for you on how to possibly achieve this. Let me know if I've missed the mark and you have any follow ups. Here goes...
1.Replicating Headers and Footers - Access Header/Footer Properties: Click inside the header or footer region of your document. This will open the Properties panel where you can adjust settings like margins, alignment, and content.
-
Recreate Headers/Footers:
- Use the Insert toolbar to add text, tables, or images to the header/footer.
- For complex layouts, use a table stretched from margin to margin to align content properly
- Link Content: If your headers/footers need to include dynamic content (e.g., page numbers, dates), you can insert these elements directly from the Edit toolbar.
- Apply Across Sections: Use the "Same as previous section" option to ensure consistency across sections.
2.Uploading the Document - File Size and Format: Ensure the document meets Workiva's file size and format requirements. If the file is too large, consider splitting it into smaller sections.
- If the platform does not allow attachments, verify if there are restrictions on the file type or size.
- Check if the document contains unsupported elements like external markups or embedded objects.
