On March 17, 2025, EDGAR Release 25.1 introduced updated validation messages that includes 14 additional rules added to FASB’s 2025 Data Quality Committee Rules Taxonomy (DQCRT). These additional rules will appear as yellow warning validation messages within the Workiva platform.

Along with the release, the SEC has accepted the 2025 version of the following taxonomies: 

• US-GAAP and SRT (published by FASB)
• CEF, COUNTRY, CURRENCY, CYD, DEI, ECD, EXCH, FFD, FND, NAICS, OEF, RXP, SBS, SIC, SNJ, SPAC, SRO, STPR, VIP (published by SEC)

The Workiva Product Team is working to add support for the 2025 versions of these taxonomies within the Workiva platform. Additional communication will be made when these updated taxonomies are ready for use.
