Currently, there is no on-platform support to crop images in designed reporting. Images must be modified outside of the platform and then re-imported. Regarding image rotation, you can rotate floating shapes and images in documents by using the rotation handle or entering the degree in the Object Properties panel. As for cropping features being on the roadmap, there is no specific timeline for when this will be available documents but it is planned.
