Blackline change authorship - suggestion on how to do it

I know this topic is out there, but maybe Workiva could do something like this that wouldn't be recreating the proverbial wheel.

At this point, within History which shows versions, you can also turn on Authorship.  I suggest when a blackline is run and viewed, have the same thing optional to turn on.  We know the data exists within WDesk to do this and this functionality I'm suggesting is already operational in a key area, so why not just apply it to Blacklines?
