    Hi Tatiana Nunes,

Unfortunately, direct restoration to a Milestone is not supported. Previous versions from the History panel are view-only — you cannot directly revert the entire document to that point in time.

    The recommended workaround is:
    1. Open your document in Workiva
    2. Navigate to the History panel on the right side
    3. Open the Milestone (previous version) you want to revert to
    4. Copy the content from that Milestone
    5. Paste it back into your current (live) document
Important Caveats to Be Aware Of:
    • Links will not carry over — any source/destination links from the previous version will need to be manually recreated
    • Destination links that were deleted (in tables or text) can be recovered via the History panel using the copy-paste method
    Best Practice Tips:
    • If design assets are frequently shifting, consider enabling the design section and fixing objects to the page to prevent accidental displacement
    • For version archiving, the recommended approach is to use Milestones or file copies at the end of each period and continue working in the original file — this keeps smart links, XBRL tags, and data connections intact in the live document

There is an existing feature request to restore a document to a milestone version. I'm happy to add you to the request. The more the merrier!
