Export/Print to PDF without page numbers in footer
We have several instances where we need to print/export a 10-Q/10-K document after it's been filed but without the page numbers included in the footer as well as a TOC link in the header. Is there a workaround or ability to print our documents without the header and footer and without having to edit the document after it's been locked for editing and permissions changed?

Hi Victor,
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately there is not a workaround that is currently available for hiding page numbers. I will create an idea ticket and pass it along to our product team for further investigation! Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you!
0Great suggestion, Victor! Looks like Gerry has you squared away there.
As far as a workaround is concerned, often what I've seen done is to manually edit your header and footer to remove those items, save that as a PDF with no table of contents hyperlinks and/or page numbers, and then once saved, undo those changes so the hyperlink and page numbers are added back.
0We also would love this feature so we can print tick versions without page numbers.
0I've added you to this request and you should be notified of any updates kari Bergren!
0Hi, any update on this feature? Would like to export the PDF without the footers. The above workaround is doable (delete footers, take pdf, undo deletion) but its an unnecessary risk to play around with deleting content. Cheers.
0Arto Grondahl sadly no news on this one I'm afraid. It remains proposed only with our product team and hasn't been added to any roadmaps for work yet. We've logged your request and shared your feedback with the team. We'll be sure to keep you apprised of any movements. Thanks for sharing your insight and do let us know if you have any questions. Cheers!
0This would be a very helpful feature - I am needing to export to our 10-K in pdf format without the Table of Contents header to wrap for the Annual Report. How are customers currently doing this? The button to include/exclude headers and footers is an option for an xhtml export, but not a pdf.
0Hi Susan!
Welcome to the community and thanks for chiming in here.
I did a little digging internally about your question and you are correct, given the current limitations here the best workaround folks use is to create a copy of the file, and then remove the headers/footers from that version to export, or to remove them after the export out. Both of these options do come with their own drawbacks though.
That said, I'll be sure to pass along your feedback here and keep you apprised. Give us a holler if you have any additional questions. Happy Friday!
