Branded templates
AnsweredMy company has pushed out a suite of branded items, including Powerpoint decks and memos and letters in Word. I was able to import and convert the Powerpoint to Presentations and save as a template, but I can't figure out how to do the same for the Word documents. When I try, it tells me the import is available for download only. What is the most efficient way to replicate the existing Word templates as Wdesk templates? I don't want to try and re-create from scratch - not only would it take a fair bit of time, there are some finicky things that would almost certainly get messed up out of proportion, poorly placed, and generally off-brand.

Hi Nicole!
Thanks for reaching out! Just to clarify, are you uploading or importing your Word documents? Contrary to an upload, an import in Workiva allows you to open and work within your files. This would allow you to save a document as a template.
Thank you!
0Thank you; this worked and I was able to save Word as Documents.
0Continuing my drama: another question on using Presentations. Having successfully imported branded templates (thank you, Community!), I built a set of slides that look good in Wdesk and export nicely to pdf. However, when I export to Powerpoint...not good. Is there a special trick to exporting back to Powerpoint? Or specific formatting that does/doesn't work?
