  I agree this should be the default setting! But an even better solution would be the option to choose if those are exported or not. I have seen use cases where hidden slides are used for documentation back-up for the rest of the slides, so in some cases it might be helpful to export.

We have made sure to connect you both to that ticket and have shared your feedback with the team. We will keep monitoring for added demand here and will keep you updated. Others are encouraged to to share their desire for this enhancement to help us gauge prioritization.

  This function would be very helpful. What does the "hidden slide" function do? I have slides hidden but they print in export, so are they hidden?

  Carla, Hidden slides do not get exported to pdf files, or at least they shouldn't but they do get exported to ppt files. I assume you are exporting to powerpoint?

  Fantastic news! A recent release has now set it so that hidden slides are not defaulted to be included when exporting a Presentation to PPTX. The option still exists, but for both PDF and PPTX, it is defaulted off.
