Revisions to documents after associated action/task has been approved
How do you make revisions to a document after the task/process action associated with the document has been approved?

Hello and welcome to the Community, Amy! Thanks for the question.
I assume you are referring to the new file type Processes? Or have I missed the mark? I'm asking some experts on my end but do let me know if you have any follow-ups or need anything else. Chat soon!
0Thanks Mike!
Yes, I am referring to the new file type Processes
0Thanks for confirming, Amy. I did get some answers for your from our experts. Here goes.
For Processes, a content request will grant Viewer permissions for each section that has been completed/approved by the assignee/approver. Permissions at the document level are not impacted throughout the Process, so the original document owners will still have ownership at the document level and would be able to open up permissions on the section where they would like to make a change. If they would like the change to be tracked, we would recommend editing the action from the Process monitor. That will loop the Task back through the workflow and you could further assign the Task to whomever needs to make the edit. Does that make sense?
Let me know if there are any follow-ups or you have any further questions. Thanks again and happy Monday!
0Thanks Mike!
Would it be possible to confirm how I can edit an approved action? In my process dashboard, the edit dropdown on actions that are already approved are greyed out.
Amy
0Snap, I have spoken too soon! I have confirmed that we don't yet support edits to completed actions in a Process, though we are planning on supporting that though. In lieu of edits, it was recommend that you could add a new step to your Process.
Sorry for the confusion there and let me know if you need anything else.
