multiple users edit overwirte each other?

When multiple users edit in a excel workbook, such as filter for a specific column, can the predecessor's filter action be replaced by another people's filter action? Does workiva has the same function as excel to only see mine?

However, Workiva provides a feature called "Filtered Views," which allows users to create and apply their own filters without affecting others.
