Here's how to SUM two cells in your Source file and link the result to your Destination file:

Step 1: Create the SUM formula in your Source file
    • In a third cell of your Source spreadsheet, enter the SUM formula:  =SUM(A1, B1) (replace A1 and B1 with your actual cell references)
    • This cell will now display the summed result.
Step 2: Create a Source Link from the SUM cell
    • Select the cell containing the SUM result.
    • Copy it using Ctrl+C (Windows) or ⌘+C (Mac).
Step 3: Paste into your Destination file
    • Open your Destination file and navigate to the cell where you want the linked value.
    • Paste using Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘+V (Mac).
    • Click the blue clipboard icon that appears.
    • Select Create Links From and choose the appropriate option.
    • Click Apply to finalize the link.
The pasted cell becomes the destination link, and the SUM cell in your source is the source link (shown with a blue indicator ).

    Step 4: Publish your link
    • Whenever you update values in the source cells, an orange indicator will appear showing unpublished changes.
    • Click Publish in the toolbar to push the updated value to your destination link.
