Accessing your CPE Certificates
What is SimpleCert?
SimpleCert is a platform that Workiva uses to both issue and store CPE (Continuing Professional Education) Certificates of Completion issued to our event attendees. Records in this repository date back to 2017.
Accessing SimpleCert
Recipient Portal URL: https://workiva.simplecert.net
To access your certificates on SImpleCert for the first time:
- Go to the Workiva Recipient Portal at https://workiva.simplecert.net
- Click the FIRST TIME USER
- Enter the email associated with your event registration
- Follow the prompts to Confirm Your Account and Create a Password

Certificates issued for Amplify 2020 Sessions
Certificates issued for sessions attended at Amplify 2020 will be in Projects containing the words "Amplify 2020." Certificates in these projects cannot be searched by session name or date of delivery. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Certificates issued prior to 9/1/2020 and Amplify 2020 certificates are most-easily found by searching for those project ID terms and browsing through the thumbnails in GRID VIEW.
Certificates issued prior to 9/1/2020
Certificates that were issued prior to September 1, 2020 and were migrated in from the previous system are in assorted Projects named "Workiva CPE Certificates 2017-2020." Certificates in these projects cannot be searched by session name or date of delivery. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Certificates issued prior to 9/1/2020 are most-easily found by searching for those project ID terms and browsing through the thumbnails in GRID VIEW.
Certificates issued after 9/1/2020
Once logged in, search by the course name or delivery date in either M/D/YYYY or YYYY.MM.DD format (9/1/2020 or 2020.09.01). You can use with LIST VIEW OR GRID VIEW to locate your certificates.*
Certificates are displayed in order of "earned" date, meaning when the certificate was created (not the date of the session)
Use the buttons on the right of the certificate for VIEW PDF or DOWNLOAD PDF
*NOTE: Certificates that were migrated in from our old repository taking place prior to 9/1/2020 and certificates that were issued as part of Amplify 2020 cannot be searched by course name or the delivery date. Please use the Grid View to find certificates specific to these timeframes. You can also search for projects named "Workiva CPE Certificates 2017-2020" or Amplify 2020" to find certificates related to those timeframes, respectively to filter your results.

How do a I request a missing certificate or incorrect information on my certificate?
If you are missing a certificate for an Amplify 2020 session, please email your inquiry to amplify@workiva.com.
All other inquiries, please email training@workiva.com.
Updating my account
Change my name or password
To change your name:
- Go to the Workiva Recipient Portal at https://workiva.simplecert.net
- Log in using your exiting credentials, or follow the prompts to create an account as a FIRST TIME USER
- Select your name on the top right
- Hit CHANGE NAME
The option to change your password is available in the same menu.
Change my email
To change your email, please email training@workiva.com and one of our admins will be able to assist you. Please be sure to provide your desired email and alternative emails that you would like edited as well.
Merge my accounts
If you have attended our events under multiple email aliases, you may not be able to see all of your certificates in the same repository. To merge accounts, please email training@workiva.com with the list of your email aliases, and indicate which you would like to use to access SimpleCert moving forward. One of our Admins will be happy to assist.
