Transition Issue - with header moving out of header

Hi,

We transitioned from Classic to NextGen and only seem to have one header issue. Sorry for the small size.  But we have a structure where it is 

Note 34

Note 34 change (not set to print)

Note 34 no change (set to print).

Only in this note did we get something coming in on Note 34 but we don't think there is anything there especially not our standard header for each page.  The header has seemed to drop out of the header section and i don't know how to put it back or delete this extra page or why this is the only one of our notes that had an issue.  Any insight or options is appreciated.

    Hey there, Nicole!

     

    I'd be happy to take a stab at this question!

    It looks like to me you have margins impacting your view right now.  If you look through your Section Properties panel between the sections you mentioned, do you notice your margins are a bit different?  You also might note a "U-turn" looking arrow to the left of the margins.  If those margins are different, this is the culprit!  

    Those U-turn arrows I mentioned will bring you back to your original settings, so that is one option.  But basically, what our goal is going to be in this situation, is to make those margins match.  

    What you're experiencing is your header falling beneath that blue dotted line because the top margin appears to be too small.  I am willing to bet when you set that section to match the previous sections (where it falls into the header), you will resolve this issue.

    This is a double-whammy because by making those section margins match, this should also get rid of that blank page!  If page A has a .5 " top margin, and page B is set to a 1" top margin, we will not be able to get them to flow together.  However, when they are both set the same, they will be able to co-exist on the same page; and get rid of any blank pages that may have previously fallen between! 

    So, once you take a look at those section margins, and get them to match up, take a look and see if things look better.

    Jenna, thank you so much.  It was the "U-Turn" on the section margins.  I kept focusing on the header margins.
