Gap in text
AnsweredWe are in the process of reviewing our files starting with our Form 10-Q. In Documents our link "2019 Form 10-K" transferred with a gap between the dash and the k. When I view the Spreadsheet it shows correctly there, but when I PDF the Spreadsheet it shows a gap. Has anyone had any other issues with this or ran into other problems in their files?

Hi Ashley!
Thanks for the question. That's very interesting indeed. I'm sharing with our transition team to see what they say, but I'm curious, is the hyphen that is used a "non-breaking hyphen"? It might be hard to tell, but if you enable non-printing characters, non-breaking hyphens vs. standard hyphens appear as so:
The interesting thing about non-breaking hyphens is currently you cannot insert them from the Symbol menu in next gen whereas you could in Classic (mentioned in this post). You CAN copy and past them in as well but they currently display with the added white space (seen above).
Assuming that's the cause, you could remove the and replace the non-breaking hyphen with a standard one to see if it addresses your issue. Our Product Team is actively pursuing a fix to address this discrepancy and I've let them know of your scenario.
In the meantime, if I've missed the mark or you have any additional questions for me, just let me know. Thanks again and have a great rest of your day!
