Automate "Continued" in header - Word document
AnsweredI was trying to automate "Continued" in the header of a word document using CTRL+F9 and formula {IF { PAGE } > { NUMPAGES } Continued}
Will this formula work in wdesk document in the same way as this formula work in MS word.?

Great news! A recent release has pushed out the option to insert a Section Page Number directly into the text of your document. This is found under the Insert menu in the Edit tab:
Note that this feature inserts the first page of the section chosen.
Hopefully ya'll make some good use out of this new feature. Let us know what you think, and if you have any questions. Thanks for your patience and keep stayin' great!
Hi Sonali!
While auto-text like page numbers and section page numbers are available, currently auto-text cannot be referenced in a formula. You can, however, have a table or links in your header/footer, so possibly you could calculate this with raw math and link those values there. You could even use a similar IF statement to do the work, but you would have to manually keep those values updated.
The ability to link or reference numbers like auto-text has been requested in the past and is something our Product Team is looking into. Definitely happy to pass along your interest in this feature as well. In the meantime, let me know what questions you have on the above or if you need anything else. Thanks again and chat soon!
0Hi Sonali!
As mentioned here, the ability to add auto-text for a specific page number in-text has been prioritized for Q3 2021. We'll keep you updated, but do let me know what questions you have in the meantime or if you need anything else. Thanks and have a great day!
