Download a document and attachments as a support binder
CompletedNo timeline is mentioned for when we will be able to download a document and attachments as a support binder. This is disappointing as we heavily rely on the support binder feature, for both internal controls and providing support to auditors. Is this a planned feature (hopefully for end of 2020 or beginning of 2021)?
If not, the best practice mentioned in the update is to "Use an application like Acrobat Pro DC or Nitro Pro to combine, reorganize, and markup your documents and attachments." This sounds like we would just be uploading the support attachments so they are in WDesk, without any other benefit since we would have to markup, combine, and organize the support binder manually.
Do any teams that have already transitioned have any advice regarding support binders?

Agree that this is a concern for our team as well and would like an update on this.
0This is a concern for my team as well.
0Hi all!
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback here. We are definitely working hard to get full parity on next gen Support Binders and in speaking with our Product Team on this, we do plan to allow next gen users to package your document plus attachment(s) in both PDF and ZIP file format by the end of the year. We have some additional info available in video format that your CSM can provide, per request that may help answer our timeline and plans for all the working parts of Support Binders.
In the meantime, let me know what questions you have for me, or need anything else. Thanks much and have a great day!
0Kinda late to the party on this but today in Binder, you Export > Save As > PDF, the saved file does include the Workiva file(s) + attachment(s).
