NextGen - Importing and adding an exhibit to a current filling
AnsweredHi,
I don't seem to be able to find a way to import and add an exhibit to a current filling with the NextGen. Would you please help me?

Welcome to the Community, Daniel!
Thanks for the question. I'm happy to get you squared away.
To import and and then add an exhibit to your next gen filing, follow these steps:
- From Home, click on the +Create option in the top right and choose Import > Import Word (docx)
NOTE: This assumes you have a Word file to import. If that's not the case, let me know.
- Once that imports, you can format as needed and once you are good with it, navigate back to your next gen filing package. From there, click the Add+ button to add documents to your current filing and choose you newly imported exhibit.
- From here, you can now generate the EDGAR version of these files and continuing through the filing, label them as exhibits.
At this point you have your exhibit imported, EDGARized and denoted in your package as such. Is this what you are looking to do? Let me know if I've missed the mark or there are questions on any of the above steps. Thanks again for your contributions and have a great rest of your day!
0Hi Mike-I am looking for a solution to something I just ran in to. I got to the step with the drop-down and I don't see the exhibit numbers I need (EX 104 and 105) is there a way to add them to the drop down?
Thank you!
Michelle
0Hi Michelle!
Thanks for the question. After a quick chat with our filing gurus, I can offer two things. First, Exhibit 104 is the Cover Page Interactive File and simply means iXBRL is tagged on the cover page. Secondly, EX-105 isn’t an exhibit type available If the EFM Vol. II, under section E.4, there's a listing of what is available.
Let me know if I've missed the mark on your underlying question. Thanks again and chat soon!
0Hi Mike-thank you!!
I figured out that I was looking at the exhibit numbers incorrectly and fixed it-thanks again for your support!
