Next Gen column header issues

Hi, please see below. The header label is just not showing up formatted left like I want it to. In Edgar preview it looks fine but in Workiva and PDF it looks bad. The format for the cell and column is identical to the old generation Workiva. So it has to be driven by a next gen issue.

    Hi Ryan!

    That is very interesting, indeed. One thing that does come to mind as a possibly culprit is any non-printing characters that could be present. To see those, try toggling that on and seeing if anything shows up within that cell. As a reminder, this setting is found under the Edit tab and the keyboard shortcut is CTRL+Shift+P.:

    Thanks so much for the quick reply! Very much appreciated. That could have something to do with it. I noticed another header doesn't have the same issue and below is what it looks like with non-printing characters.

    The header that I'm having issues with looks a bit different.

    I'm not sure how to fix this one to look more aligned like the first one.

    I take back what I said. Really both of those images show headers that are not aligned to the right edge. The "in" in the first header is one space from far right. Again, everything is fine in Edgar but since many review the file in PDF or in Workiva, I know they well comment on formatting.

    Thank for sharing those screen grabs. From what I can see, main difference is that the first example has a hard return forced after "Investments" whereas the second example is has a new line simply because the text wraps, so no hard return. It seems the alignment is being caused by the spaces, i.e. the single blue dots. The "d" of "Yield" is lining up with those spaces.

    After bit of testing on my end I was able to get a good right-alignment by having a forced hard return after both "Average" and "Lease", which ends up looking like this:

    To insert a hard return in a cell, you can use the keystroke Enter + Alt or Return + Ctrl, depending on your machine.
