Saving a combined PDF file in Next Gen

A functionality I loved in Wdesk classic / projects, was that at any point I could save a PDF ready file and actually include all documents (if contained in a project) into 1 combined PDF file... LOVED IT!

However, as we move to Next Gen, there are not more "projects" to do this in, instead, I need to download each individual Next Gen document to a PDF and combined into 1 PDF offline. The perfect solution for this would be within the Filing --> Collect section where all documents are brought together with iXBRL applied and EDGARIZED. Does this already exist or is it something that can be easily implemented into the Product Team's pipeline?

    Great news! Workiva recently released the ability to download your filing docs as PDF.

    Note that this is only the Wdesk documents that are PDF'd, not any uploaded content that is in your filing package.

    Hi Jonathan.  I wish I had a solution and think I'm having the same issue as you.  In Classic, I could us the PDF button on the Projects tool bar (usually on the right pane) and had the option of creating a PDF with the filing, along with all of the exhibits.  I can't seem to find this functionality in Next Gen....this is a needed feature and a step backwards if not available in Next Gen.

    Hi Jonathan and Stacy!

    We've been working on providing a next gen version of "Project PDF" and currently today you can combine next gen Documents into one PDF in our "first phase" format. This phase allows you to PDF all your next gen Documents found within a Folder in your folder tree from Home. To access that, you would right-click on the folder of choice, and choose the Create PDF option.

    Our next phase would be to have all next gen doc types (Spreadsheets and Presentations) found in the folder to be available to combine as well, and a future state of also including any support documents there too (PDFs, DOCX, etc.) And more to your use case, the ability to PDF a filing package itself is also something we're looking into, so you feedback here is much appreciated.     Thanks Mike and I am able to PDF the filing with the exhibits into one file.  However, the alternate row shading in the filing does not render in the PDF (regardless if I check "include Alternate Row Fill" or "Use CMYK Colorspace".  Anyone else having this issue?

    FYI, released very recently is not the ability to select multiple next gen and supporting document files (PDF, DOCX, etc) and create a PDF. You can do so by either selecting them in your Home screen and right clicking, or from a Folder that contains the files.
