How can I download a GroundRunner's log file for debugging?
AnsweredBy default, GroundRunners automatically create log files in the \Contents\log\
directory of their installation locations. To ease access to these log files for troubleshooting, you can automatically download a GroundRunner's output.log
file to a table in Wdata with a chain. In the chain, use the File Utilities and Workiva connections include these commands:
- Start with the File Utilities connection's Copy command to copy the log file and save it as a CSV.
- Using a group that includes the File Utilities connection's Zip and Delete commands, archive the CSV as a ZIP and then delete the CSV.
- End with the Workiva connection's Create File command to import the ZIP to a table, where you can then download the log file from the Datasets right panel.
