When you use an Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or Oracle HFM Legacy connection to run the Extract Data to Database command as part of a chain, it asks for a Data Source Name (DSN) input. The DSN provides information about the relational database server to connect to, such as its name and the credentials for a user with full access rights. 

Before you add the command to a chain, configure the DSN in Oracle HFM:
