    Hi all!

Wanted to give a quick update here. A recent release to Wdesk included making paragraph text linking and link formatting flow through available. Both of these are also supported during transition as well. Thanks so much for your patience and feedback. Give us a holler if you have any questions in the meantime. Cheers!

    Hi Ben!

Thanks as always for your contributions. I'm pleased to say that yes, this is definitely something that is coming to next gen, and fairly soon. I'll also add that this feature is part of some overall text and paragraph linking enhancements (mentioned here) which includes an improved text linking interface and formatting flow through. We anticipate these features to be released by the end of February, so definitely keep your eyes peeled on our What's New topic. I've also connected your request to our internal ticket to monitor as well.

Let me know if there are any questions on the above or you need anything else. Thanks as always and keep up the good work!

Mike - thanks for the notification.  We've tested and the new functionality appears to be working as intended!  I also saw in the release notes that you can now create source links that span multiple paragraphs, which is exciting to see.  I wanted to mention a related enhancement request.  When we have a primary text document and link out to various dependent documents, users often complain when commenting that they can only highlight the full paragraph rather than a specific word or phrase.  If we started source linking multiple paragraphs or full pages of text, i think that annoyance would be even greater in that people would be highlighting full pages of text when leaving comments.  Is it on the roadmap to allow an inline comment to be placed on a destination text link?
