    Hi Gabe!

Yes, it is possible to have alternate row shading with custom colors for both our Spreadsheets product and tables in next generation Documents and Presentations.

After setting either a new preset or customer format, using the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+S (or CMD+Shift+A for Mac) will set the alternating colors on your Spreadsheet or table with the new, desired color. Note that this is not available on classic Documents or Workbooks.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above. Thanks, and happy shading!

Hi! This is a great option! Any possibility of adding Gradient fills? I see it's an option for charts, but don't see the option for cells.

Hi Albert! I see you cross-posted this question here, but I am can add the same info here. At this time gradient fill in cells is not possible, though it is in dicovery mode by our product team. I'll get your interest added there and link you up to your post as well.
