    Hi Serena,

I'm doing some community clean-up and saw that my original comment to you was missing from this post when we migrated our site.

Thanks for your feedback. All excellent ideas, for sure! I did pass this along to our Product Team and will have further connected your request here to stay updated. Give me a holler if you have any questions for me in the meantime. Thanks, and stay awesome!

    Hi Serena!

Wanted to give a quick update here regarding a recent improvement to next gen table cell and row properties. You are now able to adjust the individual cell row height and/or column width from the right-hand panel. Here's a quick example:

Hopefully this helps a bit with what you were experiencing. Let me know what questions you have and if you need anything else. Thanks for your patience and have a super day!

I can't get this work. I'll set a column width and WDesk either won't accept it or resets it some mysterious maximum that doesn't make apparent sense. Dragging has no effect. I want to be able to set a table width in inches, then assign column widths dynamically. Can I do this?

I may have figured out a workaround, at least for a two-column table. I clicked Table Properties>Resize Rows to Fit Cell Contents, then entered text into the column A cell that I most wanted this to apply to. Then I unclicked the box. From there, dragging column B worked.
