Cover page - Tagging Entity Tax identification Number
AnsweredWhile doing some preliminary ixbrl work for our 2Q19 Form 10Q, I tagged the EIN on the cover page. I am getting an error when I generate. I notice on the tag detail that it should be nine digits, but with the dash it is 10. Do we need to remove the dash? If so, should this be a phantom tag rather than tagged on the actual cover page so that we can show the dash on the cover page?

Hi Michelle! I used a phantom tag for this so the dash could be included on our cover page. It's probably more of a preference than right vs. wrong way, but I'm curious what others are doing as well. 0
Hi Michelle - I agree with Trisha. Including the dash on the cover page is our preference. Please use a phantom tag.0Please sign in to leave a comment.
