AnsweredWe are in the process of getting group licences this will allow us to use spreadsheets for data collections. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions of how to attach a sign off or how to get a sign off in the spreadsheet? Thanks in advance!

Hi Michelle,
Regarding the ability to attach to Spreadsheets, that functionality is currently being worked on by our Product Team and is planned to be available in early Q1 2019.
I'll keep you posted here with any new developments.
In the meantime, you could potentially use Certifications and attachments there. More info on that can be found here on our Help site: https://success.workiva.com/help/certification/using-file-attachments-in-certification.
I'd be interested to see how others are tackling this too, for sure. Let me know if you have any questions for me in the meantime. Thanks, and have a great day!0We just use the audit trail within spreadsheets. We ask users to enter their initials to confirm they are complete. The cell history then shows who and when the sign-off was entered. 0Great insights, John!
I wanted to also let you know that our Product Team is getting ready to start beta testing new attachments in Spreadsheets. If you or Michelle (or anyone else) would be interested in trying them out, let me know and I'll be sure to connect you to the team.
Thanks, and have a super day!0Hi Mike,
That would be great!0Sounds good. Its a deal ;) 0Hi all!
Wanted to let you know that the ability to attach supporting document to a Spreadsheet was recently made available for all accounts in Wdesk. You can access this attachment feature from the right-hand panel in your Spreadsheet, like so:
Give me a holler if you have any questions or need any further assistance. Thanks so much for your valued feedback. Happy attaching in the meantime :)0Please sign in to leave a comment.
