Is there a reason that an export wouldn't include the Spreadsheet included in the Project?

Is there a reason that an export wouldn't include the SS included in the Project?  For some reason when we are attempting an export, upon importing we find it's just the Editor portion. The zip folder doesn't have anything for the SS in it either. We don't have admin rights and it sounds like copying is the easiest bet, but not an option at the moment. Can anyone help?

    Quick update here!

    As the Classic platform begins to be fully sunset after next month, I wanted to mention that in Home today you CAN export a Spreadsheet (or other next gen file). This can also be done at the Folder level, and the files linked together will also be included.

    Hi Jasmin,

    Thanks for the question. I'm happy to help explain what you are seeing here.

    Since Spreadsheets are a next generation product and other files are a classic product, the export/import method will NOT include the Spreadsheet, which is what you are seeing. However, a copy of the project WOULD include the Spreadsheet but as you point out, you'd need to be a Workspace Admin or Content Admin to run that copy.

    The two solutions that come to mind for you would be to have an existing admin on your team to perform the copy or have your CSM perform the copy for you.

    What are the steps for one of our current admins to assign Workspace admin rights?

    To assign Workspace admin rights to a member, they should follow these steps:
    1. From Wdesk Home, click on the Settings icon in the top left of the Workspace


    2. Next, select the Members tab in the middle panel, find the member you wish to edit, and choose Workspace Admin from the list of available roles



    3. Accept the edit and click Apply Changes in the lower right corner


    After that, this member would now see the option to Copy (Beta) from the right-click menu next a to a file or project in Wdesk Home. Note that this member would also have the ability to edit the Workspace settings and add members to it (from the Org only).
