Cannot turn off track changes even though I am a document owner
AnsweredThis is the error I get: "You are unable to change Track Changes settings because it is currently on for this document. Please contact an Owner of this document for assistance". When I go into File/Document Permissions owner is checked off right next to my name. I am also an Admin. When I go into advance permissions I see myself as an owner too. I do not understand why I cannot turn it off.

Hi Jolanta!
Thanks for reaching out. Based on what you are describing, that definitely is very odd. You seemed to have followed all the correct checks. Is this still happening for you?
Let me know and I'll keep digging on my end.
Talk to you soon. Cheers!0Thank you for replying Mike. Now I have a different issue. It seems that after I restarted my computer and Workiva now Workiva "knows" I am the document owner and the message has disappeared, however I am still unable to turn off track changes. Now when I hit the button the "Apply" button is greyed out. I approved all the changes in the document and shared everything and it is still greyed out. 0To confirm, when you click "No" to the first question, the Apply button still remains grey? Or does it become enabled? I tested on my end and it worked as expected, so wanted to check that your steps are the same. 0
