We are building out a "Primary File" where we will keep all financials for the year and will be the linking source for various filings. What is the best way to handle a rounding template with a primary file that will contain all current and prior quarters for the year? 

Also, if anyone has built out a "primary file", any tips, tricks, or advice you would pass along?
