Process owner access

We have just migrated from Certifications to Processes. In order to be a Process Owner, does the person need to have a particular Workspace role (like how in legacy Certifications, they needed to be a certification admin)?

Additionally, is there a way to transfer process ownership after the process has been created?

    Editor role in workspace and owner permissions will do it. 
    There is not a way to transfer process ownership after the process has been created.
