Attachments
Once an attachment is attached to a particular phrase or sentence in the document, is there a way to edit what it's attached to? I'm thinking when language gets updated or more is added to a sentence, I find that I have to delete the attachment and re-add if I want it to refer to only part of the text.

Hi Kelly Hallman
You should be able to edit the text behind an attachment... If you want to change the first word, you have to almost click past that so you're "in" the area that was selected originally. Once that is done, go back and delete that once you've added some new text. If you are not able to edit the content still, this could be a permissions issue.1Not sure I phrased my question correctly. I'm actually referring to being able to change the link/reference to the support without having to delete and add the attachment again.
0Hi Kelly Hallman
Thanks for clearing that up! This isn't currently available, but I will add you to an idea ticket for this to potentially be added in the future.

- Maximum number of attachments: 5 (use a zip file if more are needed).
- Maximum file size: 50 MB Evidence Testing:
- Recommended file size: Less than 100 MB
- Maximum file size for virus scanning: 500 MB
- Maximum file size to open in the evidence viewer: 50 MB Is this what you were looking for? Let me know if you have any follow-ups or need anything else. Thanks!0Hi Workiva friends! Just wanted to add my work-around for editing attachments to new/different language in a document. I will select the new language I want the attachment to be used for, add a reference, and remove the old attachment reference in the attachment panel. Hope this helps someone!
