    Yes, this should be possible. Just create a new section and ensure the option "Insert page break before section" in Section Properties is not checked. You can also check between pages to ensure that no manual "page break" was previously inserted that could be causing a new section to go onto a new page.

    It does not seem to Work maybe i have explained my issue insufficiently; i have one page with 3 different topics that i want to have as specific sections in the navigation pannel.

    Put your cursor at the beginning of the content that you want to be in a new section, right-click, and choose "Split to New Section." Sometimes it appears for a moment as though the content is being moved to a new page, but it corrects itself after a few seconds. If this happens you can refresh the page first to see if it is just a visual glitch. If the content has moved to a new page, check (in the new section) whether "Insert page break before section" in Section Properties was checked, and if it is, un-check it. Otherwise the content should now be in a new section on the existing (original) page.
